Infectious Diseases and Paid Plasma Donations
Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with a viral, bacterial, or parasitic infection such as Mononucleosis, Lyme Disease, or Hepatitis A? Infectious diseases are disorders caused by organisms. Many organisms live in and on our bodies. They’re normally harmless or even helpful, but under certain conditions, some organisms may cause disease (Mayo Clinic, 2015).
You may qualify to participate in a paid plasma donation study for infectious disease research in a private, controlled environment. See the list below for information regarding qualifying infectious disease states, click the appropriate title to find out more information, and fill out the Pre-Screening form if you feel you may qualify. Be sure to consult your primary care physician for information and individualized treatment plans.
