Clinical Trial Patient Recruitment

As a clinical research investigator for patient recruitment…

Diagnostic test kit manufacturers require human blood specimens to manufacture disease tests and controls.  These specimens come from a patients that are positive for the diseases the kit is sensitive to.  When there is a shortage of patient specimens, these tests can become backordered, resulting in health care providers being unable to access the tools required to properly diagnose their patients. We have the unique opportunity to keep research running and everyone can play a part in recruiting for clinical trials, whether you are a healthcare provider, patient, or researcher in need of specimens.

As a healthcare provider for clinical trial patient recruitment…

Patients recruited for clinical trials

What does a healthcare provider for patient recruitment do?

As a health care provider, you have direct contact with many patients that may qualify to participate in our donor program. Clinical trials are an ongoing process and we continuously search for patients with infectious diseases and chronic illnesses to propagate studies. PPA relies on health care providers to identify these patients that meet study criteria.  Once identified, PPA does all the administrative work, including screenings and questionnaires, providing patients with study materials, and transportation and lodging to PPA facilities when needed. Recruiting patients for clinical trials is easy to manage and available to all health care providers. Patients who qualify will donate plasma or other biological specimens for research use, and both they and the health care provider are compensated for participation.

How do I get started?

With your help in informing these patients about our services, we can ensure these needs are met with the highest standards and best interests. Find out more about specific needs with Fresh Whole Blood and Biologic Specimens  or Contact Us to make a patient referral to get started today.
